DAISY Award for Nurses

Regional Medical Center of San Jose is proud to participate in The DAISY Award, an international nurse recognition program that celebrates the extraordinary and compassionate care given by nurses every day. These nurses consistently demonstrate Clinical, Operational and Service Excellence through their expertise and compassionate care.

Our DAISY Award winners will be celebrated and presented with a DAISY Award pin, certificate and a hand-carved stone sculpture entitled A Healer's Touch. DAISY Award nominees are also celebrated and recognized with a DAISY pin.

How to Nominate an Extraordinary Nurse

Anyone may nominate a deserving nurse by filling out the below online form or a paper form located at one of our DAISY Award collection boxes located throughout the hospital.
