Current visitor policy
Regional Medical Center of San Jose is committed to the safety of our patients, colleagues, physicians and volunteers. Our visitor policy is subject to change without notice based on the current COVID-19 cases in our community. Given our current community standards and COVID - 19 cases at this time in the community, we will now have the visitation criteria as below.
Visiting hours are 9:00am - 9:00pm, 7 days a week.
Two visitors allowed per non-COVID+ patient. Visitation with COVID+ patients is not permitted. Exceptions include:
- visitors for patient in critical condition, when death may be imminent;
- parent or guardian visitor(s) of pediatric patient;
- support person(s) for patient with physical, intellectual, developmental disability, or cognitive impairment.
Universal masking continues to be recommended but not required in patient care areas.
