On-boarding application deadlines are as follows:
Applications Accepted During the first 7 days of the following months:
- January 2024
- April 2024
- July 2024
- October 2024
If you are chosen for an interview you will be contacted the 2nd week of the month that application was submitted. Unfortunately Regional Medical Center cannot accept all applicants at this time, and weekend and Friday afternoon/evening shifts are limited.
Orientation will occur once all medical requirements have been met (discussed during interview).
How may I become a junior volunteer?
- Must be 16-17 years of age
- Medical clearance by our employee health services (tuberculosis, drug screening, immunization records and proof of immunity)
- Orientation
- Minimum weekly commitment of 3 hours per week
- Maintain the same schedule for a minimum of 3 months
- Maintain 1-year of service
What do I do as a volunteer?
- Escort patients or visitors to their destinations
- Provide hospitality to visitors
- Advocate for our hospital to the community
- Data Collection/Data Entry
- Clerical Assistance
- Equipment Maintenance
