There is free general parking on the Regional Medical Center campus. Enter Regional Medical Center through the McKee Street entrance. Check-in at the admitting desk.
Your Regional Medical Center care team
We realize that a stay in the hospital or coming in for diagnostic tests can be intimidating and produce anxiety for both patients and families. Our staff is committed to support you and your family, and we’ll do all we can to provide information, resources and top quality care.
Your Regional Medical Center care team consists of professional representing different components of your continuum of care, including:
Nurses will be assigned to care for you each day, and their name and contact information will be written on the white board in your room. Our nurses work eight-hour shifts, so you will typically see three different nurses each day. Your nurse will check on you each hour (even while you’re sleeping) to assess your condition and see if you need anything. You can also use the call button on your bed to call your nurse.
Regional Medical Center has a team of board-certified physicians that specialize in caring for hospitalized patients—in the emergency room, intensive care unit or on a surgical floor. Your personal physician may care for you during your hospital stay if he/she has active privileges with our medical staff.
Certified nursing assistants
Certified nursing assistants (CNAs) typically provide assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting and oral care. Your CNA is often the person who takes your vital signs and weight and height measurements.
Additional care team members include:
- Environmental services representatives keep your room and our facility clean.
- Lab technicians draw blood each morning to provide your physician with an update on your condition.
- Imaging technicians obtain clear and accurate images, such as X-rays or CT scans.
- Respiratory therapists deliver breathing treatments when needed.
- Rehabilitation therapists (speech, physical and occupational therapists)
provide therapies that help you on your path to recovery.
- Case managers and discharge planners assist with your transition to the next phase of your recovery.
- Registered dieticians and nutritionists develop the perfect dietary plan to aid in your healing.
MyHealthONE patient portal
MyHealthONE consolidates many tasks into an online, secure and easy-to-use patient portal. It gives you 24/7 access to your personal health information on your desktop computer, laptop or mobile device.
MyHealthONE allows you to:

- Sign-up for classes and events
- View details of recent hospital visits
- View hospital lab results
- Manage the health of your loved ones
- Pre-register for procedures
- View and pay hospital bills
Patient educational programs
The Patient Channel® delivers around-the-clock educational programming designed to empower heart and stroke patients to better manage their own care and recovery to live longer, healthier lives.
Through The Wellness Network, our patients are also offered a newborn channel, a MedSerenity channel and programs about cancer, diabetes, pain management and more. Programs can be accessed on tablets, through an online portal, and on an in-facility TV channel. The on-demand feature allows patients to view programs via internet while they’re in the hospital, as well as when they go home.

It is our intention to resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner, so we use a simple process for patients to report concerns. Please use one of the following options to report a concern during your visit or stay:
- Notify any staff in the room (nurse, CNA, etc.)
