Women's & Children's

Regional Medical Center’s Women & Children’s Services provides comprehensive, specialized care for Women & Children’s health issues.

Providing Quality Care Every Step of the Way

We recognize that women’s bodies differ from men’s in many ways beyond the obvious anatomy.

We also understand women and children's health go hand in hand. That's why we are committed to providing first-class care for women and children at all stages of life. Whether you are preparing for pregnancy, seeking care for your children, or going through menopause, our highly-skilled medical team of obstetricians, pediatricians, gynecologists, family practitioners, neonatologists (take care of the baby after the birth), nurses, therapists and support staff combine their expertise and compassion to create a care team you can count on.

In recognition of the quality care we provide to patients, Regional Medical Center has received the 5-Star Healthgrades® Women’s Health Excellence Award™

The Pediatric Unit is staffed by all Registered Nurses. Parents are encouraged to stay with their children for comfort and peace of mind.

Regional Medical Center of San Jose has received:

  • California Children's Services (CCS) certification for Pediatrics from the California Department of Health Care Services.
  • California Children's Services (CCS) certification for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) from the California Department of Health Care Services.
