The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

NICUNewborns who are born prematurely or with serious or life-threatening illnesses can expect to receive the very best care at Regional. Our Level II NICU is certified by the California Children's Services and is one of two such nurseries in the area.

The NICU is staffed by a board-certified/board-eligible neonatologist around the clock to ensure readiness for any emergency and to provide the highest quality of care.

Our NICU is able to care for babies who:

  • Are born prematurely
  • Require respiratory support
  • Need antibiotic therapy

Visit Your Baby Around the Clock

Diverse Staff

Communication will not be a barrier during your stay. Our multicultural staff speaks several languages and dialects. We also have access to the Cyracom language translation help line to assist patients who speak other languages.
