Cancer Care in Your Community

Commission on Cancer

CoC accredited cancer programs are dedicated to providing the best in patient-centered care.

In November 2014, the Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons granted Three-Year Accreditation with Commendation to the cancer program at Regional Medical Center. As a CoC-accredited cancer program, this institution demonstrates an important commitment to providing all patients with access to services they need from diagnosis through treatment, rehabilitation, and survivorship care.

The CoC challenges cancer programs to enhance the care they provide by addressing patient-centered needs and measuring the quality of the care they deliver against national standards.
