Meet the Regional San Jose Medical Center Executive Team
Mike T. Johnson, Chief Executive Officer
Mike T. Johnson, MPA, RN-C, FACHE comes to Regional Medical Center of San Jose from Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV where he served as CEO. Under his leadership, Southern Hills received recognition from the state of Nevada for improvement in quality core measures.
Mike has extensive experience in healthcare, having served in leadership roles in non-profit and investor-owned multi-hospital systems as well as academic medical centers. Prior to joining Southern Hills, Mike’s experience included stintsat Christus Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi-South in Corpus Christi, TX and Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, NE, Covenant Health System & University Medical Center in Lubbock, TX.

Raju Iyer, Chief Financial Officer
Raju Iyer, CPA, chief financial officer, joined Regional Medical Center of San Jose in June 2007. Mr. Iyer is responsible for finance, admitting, supply chain, information systems, health information management, and resource & case management. He was formerly a senior associate/partner with the CPA firm of James Knutzen & Associates in Jacksonville, Florida. He joined HCA in 2000 where he was senior auditor in the HCA corporate offices, controller at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida, and division controller for HCA’s Far West Division in Las Vegas. Mr. Iyer earned his Master of Science in Accounting in 1992 from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Tina Bray, MSN, MBA-Chief Nursing Officer
Tina Bray, Chief Nursing Officer joined Regional Medical Center of San Jose in July of 2010 as the Associate Chief Nursing Officer, before being promoted to Chief in November 2012.
Prior to joining the Regional Team, Tina was Service Line Director for Emergency, Trauma, Critical Care, Palliative Care and Nursing Operations at Alameda County Medical Center and has a strong background in regulatory compliance and hospital operations.
Ms. Bray has a Master’s Degree in Nursing and a Masters in Business Administration from Holy Names University in Oakland California. In addition she is a certified LEAN/Six Sigma "greenbelt". She is active in the community and enjoys dancing, fitness and traveling.
Sandy Yanko, Chief Operating Officer
Sandy Yanko, Chief Operating Officer joined Regional Medical Center of San Jose in 2014 from the Far West Division of Regional’s parent company, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) in Las Vegas, Nevada. There she served as Vice President of Process Improvement/Management Engineering since 2003. An Industrial and Systems Engineer, Yanko has more than 20 years of experience in operations improvement for healthcare providers, including HCA and Northeast Georgia Health Systems. She holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Health Systems Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the University of Virginia.
Nancy Fore, RN, Chief Quality Officer
Nancy Fore, RN, BSN, CPHQ, has been a champion for hospital quality for more than 20 years. Prior to her appointment as Chief Quality Officer, Ms. Fore was the Director of Quality at Regional Medical Center since 2004. Prior to joining Regional, she was the Director of Quality at San Jose Medical Center, San Jose, CA and has held a variety of nursing staff positions at Good Samaritan Hospital, San Jose, CA. A graduate of San Jose State University, Ms. Fore also holds a teaching credential from UC-Berkeley.
Nancy Clark, Vice-President, Human Resources
Nancy Clark, was promoted to vice-president of human resources in 2007. An experienced human resources professional, Ms. Clark joined Regional Medical Center of San Jose in March 2006 as assistant director of human resources. Prior to joining Regional, she was director of human resources for ALLIANCE for Community Care (now Momentum for Mental Health), in San Jose. Ms. Clark earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Cornell University.
